Day 1: Welcome to Ireland

After arrival at Dublin Airport this morning, a short drive takes us to Wicklow Town and an iconic pub for lunch and refreshments before we head off to the coastal town of Wexford.

Dinner/Overnight—Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford

Day 2: Dunbrody to Cork 

Follow in the footsteps of a group of Famine emigrants as you board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside in New Ross. From here we will make our way to Cork, not before stopping at the Marine bar for a live music session.

Overnight—Metropole Hotel, Cork

Day 3: Cobh & Spike Island 

This morning we head to the original White Star Line ticket office—the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. We have a guided tour at the Titanic Experience. From Cobh we board a ferry for Spike Island. Recently voted "Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction," Spike Island was used as a defence fortress in the 18th & 19th centuries and later converted into a prison in the 20th century.

Dinner/Overnight—Metropole Hotel, Cork

Day 4: Killarney & the Ring of Kerry 

Bidding farewell to Cork City we travel into West Cork and the beautiful town of Kenmare. From here we head on through Moll’s Gap and the Lakes of Killarney. After some free time in Killarney we make our way to the fishing port of Dingle, home to some of the best, freshest and tastiest seafood restaurants in Ireland.

Day 5: Cliffs of Moher 

This morning we head to Tralee renowned for its Rose of Tralee festival. We then continue to the lovely village of Adare, where thatched cottages line the broad main street. From Limerick we make our way to Doolin for a cruise to experience the scale and majestic beauty of the Cliffs of Moher with a view that is truly breathtaking.

Dinner/Overnight—Armada Hotel, Spanish Point

Day 6: Burrens, Bogs & Bottles

After breakfast today, we head from the Burren to the bog to the bottle on our way to Dublin. During our journey through the midlands we have a tasting and tour at Kilbeggan Distillery, Ireland’s oldest licensed distillery. Here we will learn everything about making Irish Whiskey, uisce beatha—the water of life. This evening, a free night to explore the electric atmosphere in Dublin.

Overnight—Camden Court Hotel, Dublin

Day 7: Dublin’s Fair City

The full day is yours to explore Dublin's "Fair City." Using your Hop On/Hop Off pass you can check out the famous streets, squares, magnificent buildings, beautiful parks & great shopping. Tonight, we visit the Abbey Tavern in Howth for a traditional dinner followed by some rousing Irish music and dancing.

Day 8: Tour ends

Your tour ends after a final hearty Irish breakfast in your Dublin hotel followed by a transfer to Dublin Airport for your onward journey
